From an old auto-repair garage to a place for new beginnings.
Plain Jane's was founded in January 1996. After years of shopping the garage-sale circuit, Jane imagined a permanent garage sale—a place where all manner of home decor could be displayed together under one roof.
The building was an old auto repair garage, a fitting home for the idea that useful things can be loved again. Three decades and a few remodels later, Plain Jane's has helped sell hundreds of thousands of unique items for its consignors.
